8 October 2025: IAG Loyalty, the company behind the global loyalty currency Avios, has opened the doors to the Avios Shop, a new online shopping experience allowing members to spend their Avios on the latest Apple devices.
For the first time, members of The British Airways Club can use their Avios towards purchases of their favourite Apple products, from the iPhone and iPad to MacBook, Apple Watch, and more.
Members will be able to reduce the cost of their favourite Apple devices by up to 25% of the overall price, by using their Avios to lower the cash amount payable, while also collecting Avios for their purchase at a rate of 2 Avios per £1 spent.
Previously, customers were only able to earn Avios on tracked purchases through the Avios eStore when bought directly from Apple, with no opportunity to spend Avios to help lower the cost.
With Apple set to become the hottest new destination for redemptions, customers shopping via the Avios Shop will also be able to also use their Avios to score savings on Apple’s latest technology, including the new iPhone 17 and iPhone Air, launched last month.
Thanks to Avios being an Apple partner, shoppers can now secure an iPhone 17 for less, giving customers’ wallets a much-appreciated boost when shopping for the festive season.
The Avios Shop is designed to give members even greater flexibility in how they use their Avios, complementing existing options such as flights, hotels and experiences, as well as purchases from online wine delivery service, The Wine Flyer.
