We completely reimagined our approach to performance and development, taking inspiration from how we develop products for our customers. We said goodbye to annual reviews, and hello to great conversations throughout the year, focusing on clear outcomes and continuous improvement.

Margherita Raimondi, our Proposition Lead said:

I believe that “You” is the key word when it comes to “Product You”. The sessions with my team (and with my manager) are focussed on the individual. We use it flexibly, based on each colleague’s personality and preferences or what is important for each specific session. Each conversation is also an opportunity to relate back to our “Growth Mindset”, so spending time thinking about past learning and what’s coming next to allow us to grow and evolve is key. Having regular sessions really helps keeping up the focus.

Platform Architecture and Engineering Lead

"I joined IAGL in 2019 at the start of our digital transformation, working as the Tech Lead on our very first cloud B2B product. Fast forward a few years and it's amazing to see how far we've come and how much we've matured as a product delivery organisation.

I'm now running our Platform Engineering and Architecture teams which is immensely rewarding, from solving strategic challenges for the business to driving improvements in the developer experience for all of our product teams. My journey at IAGL has seen significant growth both personally and organisationally and I'm excited to see what else the future holds."

"As a Graduate Trainee in 2017, I couldn't have imagined where my career would take me. Starting out in eStore Marketing and subsequently moving to a managerial role within the Financial Services partnerships team presented brilliant opportunities to work on challenging projects and gain a variety of skills and experiences during a particularly transformational time for the business.

In 2022, looking for a new challenge within a different area of the business, I moved into the role of Senior Sustainability Manager. I have responsibility for defining and delivering IAGL's sustainability strategy, and collaborate with colleagues across IAG. I find my role very fulfilling and another fantastic opportunity for growth."
