Shop till your Avios drop - Expanded Avolta partnership unlocks new airport rewards at World Duty Free and beyond

- Customers can now collect and redeem Avios when shopping in Avolta stores – including World Duty Free – at Birmingham, Edinburgh and Manchester Airport
- This follows an existing deal which allows customers to collect and redeem Avios at Heathrow Airport and across Spanish airports
16 March 2026 - IAG Loyalty, the organisation behind global reward currency Avios, has expanded its partnership with global travel retailer and F&B operator, Avolta, to give customers even more ways to collect Avios when travelling through airports on their next adventure.
Thanks to the expanded partnership, customers will now be able to collect Avios at a variety of Avolta’s travel retail operations, including World Duty Free, at a wider selection of airports, including some of the UK’s busiest hubs; Birmingham, Edinburgh and Manchester Airport.
The announcement follows the success of the current partnership, which allows customers to collect Avios with selected retailers at Heathrow Airport and across Spanish airports, including Barcelona, Madrid and Malaga.
Available from today, members of The British Airways Club or Iberia Club, plus Club Avolta loyalty programme, will collect 1 Avios per £1 spent at the trio of new airports, helping turn airport buys into rewards that fly. To collect, customers must ensure their accounts are linked prior to shopping. To mark the expansion, customers who link their Club Avolta and British Airways Club or Iberia Club accounts for the first-time, and make a purchase in-store, will also receive a bonus 250 Avios.
Those looking to save their spending until the holiday begins can enjoy some retail therapy as soon as they reach the airport, with customers travelling through Heathrow, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Manchester Airport able to spend Avios when shopping in World Duty Free.
Within the Club Avolta app, customers can simply turn their Avios into an Avolta shopping voucher, which can then be used on beauty, confectionery, toys, and more. There’s also a great choice of travel exclusive products to choose from, that can’t be found on the high street – perfect for a unique gift, or special self-treat!
Customers yet to join The British Airways Club, Iberia Club, or Club Avolta, can sign-up for free today, and Club Avolta then offers exclusive retail deals to members and a 5% discount at World Duty Free.
